Best piece of advice for your clients?
Be vocal. Tell your doctors how you feel every time and it’s not “fine” or “ok”. You are your best advocate.

I am personable with the clients. I like to make sure they get what they need when they call or come into the office, whether by me or one of my teammates.

Patience. This is not usually a quick or easy process. Know that we are here to help you through it.

What do you do for B&D?
I am the Case Manager. I manage the SSA and Employment Disability aspects of our firm including client contact, training of employees, and correspondence with SSA agencies and other Employment Disability Insurers.

What makes you good at your position?
I enjoy working with others and being able to lend a helping hand during the difficult time most of our clients are going through. It can be a very long process and having patience and understanding for the situation that they are in.

Best piece of advice for your clients?
TREATMENT! Stay in treatment. In order to prove to SSA or other Employment Disability Insurers that you are unable to continue working, there must be medical information to support your claim.

What do you do for B&D?
I request medical records from doctors and hospitals to provide evidence in our client’s hearings. I also do all of the submissions of evidence to the SSA.

What makes you good at your position?
I have an eye for detail when going through the medical records we receive.

My best advice to our client’s is to have all our paperwork filled out so we can assist them in a timely manner.
